80 Deg Carbide Insert Holders
This set includes both right-hand and left-hand holders for 80° carbide inserts. The holders have a 3/8” square shank and are made from case hardened steel with a black oxide finish. Each holder comes with an 80° negative rake insert with 4 sides and a Torx hold-down screw. A Torx key to tighten the screws is also included. 80° inserts have a strong shape that makes them suitable for roughing cuts, and the .015” nose radius leaves a good finish.
TOOL POSTS:
Sherline 3/8” shank tools can be held with the standard height P/N 7600 tool post or the 3/8” riser tool post P/N 1289. For those who prefer using the P/N 2250 quick-change tool post set, there is now a special quick-change 3/8” shank holder P/N 2282.
