1/48 Scale Aries 1B Passenger Cabin Graphics Decals
Make the interior of Moebius Models’ new Aries 1B pop with decals and lighting films*.
Films are included for these areas:
- The overhead lighting panels, including the circular
lights around the elevator. - The television screens – 14 screens are included to
provide builders with many options: - Four screens are from a scanned frame of the
actual martial arts footage shown in the movie. - Seven screens are scenes from other Stanley
Kubrick films. - One shows the futuristic car featured in the “movie”
shown aboard the Orion 3 space plane. - One is an advertisement for Pan Am (a nod to the
sequel “2010”). - The final screen is from a news program concerning
the cover story of a plague on the Moon. - Two different sets of zero gravity toilet instructions –
one set at the original kit part’s aspect ratio and the
other set the correct taller/skinnier aspect ratio. Both
of these incorporate artwork scanned directly from the
original, film used zero gravity toilet instructions.
The decals include the same television screens and zero gravity toilet instructions as the lighting films for those who don’t wish to do the modifications necessary to light them. In addition, decals are included for:
- The elevator and zero gravity toilet door buttons.
- The lighting panels in the edges of the steps leading to the elevator.
