Description
Sherline Compound Slide Riser Block 1272
The compound slide can be used on the lathe with riser blocks in place with the use of a riser for the compound itself. In normal use, the compound on a Sherline is designed to be used on the “back” side of the crosslide table with the cutting tool held upside down. When using the riser block, the compound is used on the “front” side with the cutting tool in the normal position with the cutting face on the top.
Included with the riser are four T-nuts and mounting bolts. See the P/N 1272 compound slide for links to instructions on its use.
