Manual 13 inch Crosslide Assembly
This 13″ lathe crosslide is 7/8″ thick (as opposed to the standard 6″ crosslide which is 5/8″ thick), and is not recommended to replace your lathe crosslide for normal use. The reason for this is that because of the extra thickness of this crosslide, the center line of the lathe will not longer match. We make a riser for the headstock but not one for the tailstock, so parts cannot be turned between centers. Some of our other accessories, such as the thread cutting attachment, can also not be used with this thicker crosslide.
