Sherline 45500 – Electronic Filter for EU Countries
In order to qualify Sherline machines for import to countries requiring CE certification, Sherline has designed an inline electronic filter that complies with CE requirements. All machines going to countries in the European Union (EU), as well as others requiring CE certification, must order this filter when ordering a lathe or mill. This adds $45.00 to the cost of any machine.
If ordering the filter along with a machine, the filter will be pre-wired to the electronic speed control at the Sherline factory. All the customer needs to supply is a wall plug adapter to go from the USA style 3-prong connector to their particular country’s style of wall plug.
The filter can also be purchased separately to add to any existing Sherline machine with a DC motor. Installation instructions are included.
