T Gauge is the smallest working model railroad gauge currently available. Its 1:450 actual scale or ½ of Z Gauge. You can pack a lot of railroading in a very small space. VcsHobbies is a US distributor of these amazing miniature trains.
Easily adds a great deal of realism to your t gauge train scene! These tiny details all add up to one amazing train setup. You will need a hobby knife to separate these from the fret. Also, you will need clear epoxy or glue to attach to your train. You can also use clear paint to adhere the photoetch to the train. Once finished, you can paint the etch if you wish. Hobby knife, paints, and glues are not included.
Tip: Bending the etches can be tricky! You can use a bending tool specifically made for bending photoetch parts. VcsHobbies carries the full line of Small Shop bending tools. Please check our website or contact us for more information.
Includes:
Stainless Steel (0.1mm/4 thou thick) etch of valve gear, enough for 4 or 5 steam locos – The 4472 FS, Union Pacific Big Boy, 44871 (The Jacobite steam loco) and a 44871/4472 hybrid.
Included in the etch are various extras including a variety of valve links, steel ladders etc..
Because the etching process is tricky down at this scale, a 0.2mm+ drill may be required to clear out some of the holes as required.
